Musings, reflections and self-arrogance from the now-former editor of a small weekly newspaper, And, occasionally, even something interesting!

It doesn't bother me one way or the other . . .
but if anyone stil has any trace of interest after my self-serving round of modeling posts from a couple of weeks ago, I decided to create a shadow blog on that theme here.
I commend you. It is always a good thing to share your interests as you know not of who may be passing through that share the same.
Nope, modeling is not my thing...but I appreciate the talents and the interests of others. I enjoy looking at the pictures of what you have built as it is a reflection of you. It speaks volumes as to your level of patience, persistence, consistency, creativity, skill and devotion. You have talent.
FE, as the non-artistic mom of two hyper boys whose model airplanes, destroyers, cars, helicopters and Star Wars models NEVER, EVER looked even remotely like the picture on the box, I will also pass on visiting your alternative model blog. Mainly out of sheer shame and embarrassment.
Just tell all your male friends that it's a blog devoted entirely to photos of models, along with their most intimate details. You'll flood the servers!
Fourteen years in the journalism biz, but don't let that stereotype about commie pinko bleeding heart liberal journalists fool you - I manage to disappoint conservatives and liberals alike. Whatever happened to common sense and rational thought? At least I'm not a neo-fascist, neo-Nazi or other political extremist. In fact, just about my entire political, social and metaphysical outlook can be explained in the movie "Blazing Saddles."
My journalistic idols? Carl Kolchak (thus the profile pic) and Irwin M. Fletcher.
As for my professional choice, it beats retail, restaurant management and scrambling around to fund graduate school.
I'm also pretty smug after 30 years - I knew back in 1976 that everyone else would come around and agree with me that the Electric Light Orchestra was cool. Just listen to those Monster.com, Volkswagen and J.C. Penneys commercials.

Not self-serving. I thought they were interesting.
certainly was, is even!
Fronty, I'll pass on the models, only because I'm too busy to take on more blogs to visit. I'll still pop by here though, no problem.
Fab FO SHO! Clever man that you are Mr. Editor!

Not everyone can do that. I know I can't :)
