Almost forgot . . . FE's Dance Party, 09-02

It's Labor Day Weekend here in the states, so why not a Dance Party with a vaguely disturbing socialist theme? That ought to make this short and bittersweet . . .

Nothing like ripping off Falco and copping that eastern European commie vibe to get on MTV

A little Internationale never hurt anybody . . . too much.

Gotta give dem crazy Soviets credit - they carry off the epic national anthem bit with some class. Besides, this was the best part of "Hunt for Red October" after Sean Connery's toupee'.

Holy Sputniks Batman!

I love der Kommissar! as for the Ruskie stuff we get enough of that during Hockey tournaments.
Bbbrrrrrr gives me a cold war chill...and a Hunt For Red Oktober flashback.

To remedy my angst from these commie pinko songs I will get to my music library to enjoy
some homespun americana ..
'Up against the wall you redneck mothers!'

Yes, FE, wonderful music, the only national anthem I ever liked, apart from hearing 60,000 drunk Welshmen singing 'Land of My Fathers' at the Arms Park, in the old days before they got women to sing it.
When does the revolution start? Can't do Wednesday - got a chap coming round to do some work.

October Surprise? I'm in.

Some eedjit on the Boris Blog got me trolling through the old family tree and I found out that I've got terrorists on both my mother's and father's sides.

Which explains a helluva lot.

Anyway, let me know when and where. Can I have Cuba?

Thanks for that... brrrrrrr indeed... listening to that reminded me that hymn has Finnish words to it... so someone there was expecting something...

I love the name "frontier editor"... Here's a post from a long time ago about a newspaper called the "Frontier Post", don't know if you would have heard of it...

All best, tovaritsh...
